The Moore Center for the Prevention of Child Sexual Abuse is committed to changing the way people view child sexual abuse, from inevitable to preventable. It recognizes that everyone shares in the responsibility for prevention and that everyone benefits when children remain safe from abuse.
The Center pursues its mission by supporting and conducting interdisciplinary research, educating and training students and professionals, providing objective information to policymakers and the media, and partnering with organizations that complement our mission to improve national and international policies targeting child sexual abuse—and especially to develop strong prevention strategies.

The Child Molestation Research & Prevention Institute (CMRPI) is a national, science-based, 501(c)3, nonprofit organization. CMRPI conducts research to prevent child sexual abuse and provides information to prevention organizations, agencies, professionals, and families to use to prevent abuse. The National Center on the Sexual Behavior of Youth provides national training and technical assistance to improve the accuracy, accessibility, ad strategic use of accurate information about the nature, incidence, prevalence, prevention treatment, and management of youth with Problematic Sexual Behaviors.
For professionals, the Center’s website provides an overview of the latest research findings and best practices for working with youth with PSB. It describes the heterogeneity of these children and adolescents, appropriate assessment strategies, evidence-based interventions, practitioner qualifications, and public policy considerations. Links, references, and resources that offer more in-depth and targeted information are provided. The overarching goal of this resource is to provide recommended, evidence-based practices that, if adopted, may enhance effective intervention and positive outcomes for children and adolescents with PSB and their families.

Guided by data, the Together for Girls partnership raises awareness, promotes evidence-based solutions, and galvanizes multisectoral action to end violence against children, with a special focus on preventing sexual violence against girls.
The partnership brings together more than 20 national governments, civil society organizations, UN entities, development partners and the private sector to improve violence prevention, healing and justice. Together for Girls has a three-pronged approach to prevent and respond to violence:
- Data: Generating quality data and evidence about violence against children in order to inform solutions to prevent it
- Advocacy: Raising awareness to drive lasting change through communications and campaigns to build political will, shape policy agendas and elevate the voices of survivors.
- Action: Galvanizing a coordinated, multisectoral response to bring evidence-based solutions to scale and create lasting change in the lives of children and adolescents.
